Catch-up with the exciting primates of uganda tours in the virgin forests of Bwindi and Kibale. Spend time with the gigantic Gorillas, Chimps, and a wide range of monkey species. Better yet catch a glimpse of some uganda wildlife safaris with a highlight of the big four in Queen Elizabeth national park on the game drive and the spectacular boat cruise.


Day 1 – Arrival in Uganda.

Arrival at the airport where you will be met by our representative who will receive you and welcome you transferring you to the hotel there after. Depending on the time you will be briefed about your primates safari and take you around Kampala city the Capital of Uganda.


Day 2 – Transfer to Kibale forest.

Early morning after breakfast drive off to Kibale forest National Park known for the highest concentration of primates in east Africa. Time allowing visit and explore the Toro kingdom palace, and fort portal town.


Day 3 – chimpanzee trekking in Kibale.

Early rise and assemble at the park headquarters for the Chimp trekking briefing. Led by an experienced guide, make our way into the forest rich with numerous primate, birds and plants in search of the chimps. You may also come across black and white colobus monkey, Uganda red tailed valvet monkey and the rare L’hoest monkey, grey cheeked mangabey among others. Later in the afternoon after lunch visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for other mammals and primates including the rare red Columbus monkey and the sitatunga.


Day 4 – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Uganda.

After breakfast checkout and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park set against the shadows of Mountain Rwenzori one of the highest mountains in Africa. You may stopover at the equator before continuing. Arrive in time for lunch and after lunch take on a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel.


Day 5: African game drive and boat cruise.

Rise for an early morning game drive on the Kasenyi tracks where you may spot the famous Big Four; African Elephant, Buffalos, Lions, Bush bucks, Uganda Kobs, Giant forest hog, Hyenas and Waterbucks. In the afternoon, Transfer to the Ishasha sector for another game drive.


Day 6- transfer to Bwindi home of the mountain gorillas.

Early morning transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park where half of the world’s population of mountain Gorillas still resides. Make our way through the winding roads and the beautiful landscape through the Switzerland of Africa down the impenetrable forest. In the Evening you may take either a nature walk or a community walk in the surrounding neighborhood visiting some local projects and interacting with the local people.


Day 7 – Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi.

Early morning after the briefing from the park headquarters, entry into the the impenetrable forest led by a trained ranger who will help you find the mountain G orillas. Enjoy a quality hour with them as you stare in their face and admire their beauty, the time quickly passes by fast the beauty of theses beast is unmentionable. Return to the lodge for freshening up and some rest.


Day 8 – Transfer to Kampala,

After breakfast check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala if time allows you may stopover at Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy the picture perfect view of the beautiful second deepest lake in Africa before continuing.


Day 9 – Departure

Depending on your flight time your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport in time for your flight home.
