Day 1: Arrival in uganda tours.
Upon your arrival at the Entebe Airport, you will be received by our representative who will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation facility. Depending on the time of arrival you may be briefed about your safari and you can also have your money changed this day as you take a walk around as well.
Day 2: Kampala To Jinja.
Early morning set off east of Uganda to Jinja the former industrial capital of Uganda present day home of the source of the Nile. Stopover at the Ssezzibwa falls and at the Mabira forest home to hundreds of birds before continuing to the source of the Nile where you could ride on the boat to a nearby island and return before dawn or spend a night there.
Day 3: Jinja – Sipi Falls.
Early morning you could have a half day excursion of adventure, you could do a half day rafting experience or quad biking or bungee jumping and continue to Mbale home of the mountain Elgon and Sipi falls.
Day 4: Sipi Falls.
Early morning breakfast and embark on a hike to the Sipi falls; a series of 3 tall falls plugging along the lower slopes of mountain Elgon. Hike through the local farms on a trail of about 7kms with a number of view points each offering a different view of the falls all the way to the top of the middle fall. This guarantees you a spectacular view of the cultivated slopes of Mountain Elgon together with the beauty of the falls. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Sipi Falls –Murchison falls National Park.
Rise early morning for breakfast and transfer to Murchison falls National Park. Depending on the time we set off, we could have a picnic lunch en-route before entering into Murchison falls national park. Time allowing you may drive via the top of the magnificent falls.
Day 6: Game Drive Murchison Falls Np. And Boat cruise On The Nile.
Early morning game drive in the northern part of Murchison falls National Park with your tour guide who may help you spot the, leopards, jackals, lions, buffaloes, Uganda Kobe , elephants, several savannah wild life species. You will return to the lodge for your mid morning breakfast relax as you wait for lunch. In the afternoon take a launch cruise along the Nile which will take you to the bottom of the falls where you may have an opportunity to see huge water animals like the hippos, the crocodiles, the buffaloes and plenty of birds including the globally threatened and popular shoe bill.
Day 7: Murchison falls National Park – Hoima.
Catch one last look at the beautiful Murchison falls National Park and its awesome wildlife. If you did not get a chance to visit the top of the falls we can drive there this morning before we continue to Hoima for our diner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Hoima – Kibale Forest National Park.
Transfer to Kibale Forest National park home of the largest population of primates in east Africa, through the largest tea plantation and the local homesteads all the way to fort portal.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking And Bigodi Swamp Walk.
Have your morning breakfast and off to the park’s Headquarters for a briefing and later continue on your way into the Forest led by an experienced guide. Other than the chimps, you may encounter lots of other primates including the Red tailed Monkeys, Black and white collobus Monkeys, Blue Monkeys and many others. You will spot thousands of butterflies and different bird species in the park. In the afternoon visit the Bigodi wetland sanctuary with over 200 bird species and about 8 primates’ species.
Day 10: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Wake up and prepare to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park the park with the largest species diversity. Follow the mountain ranges, with a stopover at the Equator and continue to the park. You may spot a few animals as you transfer to your respective place of stay for 2 nights.
Day 11: Game Drive And Boat Cruise On The Kazinga Channel.
Very early in the morning game drive where you may be rewarded with the sight of the Lions, herds of Elephants, Buffaloes and the solitary ones, Antelopes, Uganda Kob, Leopards, Warthog, and various bird species. At the end of the game drive return to the lodge, relax; after lunch prepare for an afternoon boat ride; where you may see animals, large schools of Hippos thrashing the water, Crocodiles, Elephants and Buffaloes coming for water and others at a distance as well as different bird species.
Day 12: Ishasha Sector
Early morning you will transfer to the remote southern side of this Park famous for the tree climbing Lions, the Ishahsa sector. While here you may encounter the Kings of the Jungle napping in the branches of trees preferably figs on your evening and morning game drive.
Day 13: Ishahsa – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
Early morning wake up to the peaceful wilderness and after breakfast we will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Drive through the Switzerland of East Africa the winding roads, terraced hills the scenery is breathtaking.
Day 14: Gorilla Trekking
With your packed lunch, cameras, water, rain jackets, long pair of trouser and hiking boots and other gear, you will assemble for briefing at the park headquarters. Thereafter enter into the impenetrable forest in search of the mountain Gorillas. You are allowed an hour with them, which is the most thrilling experience of a life time. Return to the lodge there after and depending on the time and the ability you could either do a nature walk or community walk in the afternoon.
Day 15: Bwindi – Kisoro.
Transfer to Kisoro Mgahinga Gorilla National Park the drive is about 4 hours but you can ask your guide to make a few stops if you wish. The Forest is rich in a number of Apes and Primates including the famous mountain Gorillas and the endangered golden Monkeys. There is also a provision of hiking the dormant volcano.
Day 16: Kisoro.
Early morning after breakfast we will continue into the ancient forest in search of the rare golden monkeys the forest is also rich in many plants and primates as well as birds including some of the Albertine Endemics. The forest also has a rich cultural history together with its former habitats the Batwa who tell an interesting story.
Day 17: Lake Bunyonyi.
After breakfasts transfer to the magnificent lake Bunyonyi, after a strenuous trek this is a perfect relaxation to unwind all the fatigue from the rest of the safari. Enjoy the pictorial scenery of the dotted island; it is the second deepest lake in Africa. You could take a boat trip to a few surrounding island, swim, or try your hands at paddling and enjoy the Cray fish that graces this lake. Retire to a silent night overlooking this wondrous beauty.
Day 18: Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park.
Take your time to wake and take in the scenes and beauty round you with a fulfilling breakfast. Leisurely transfer to Lake Mburo national park through the ever green soothing scenery all the way to the whispers of the wild popular for the Zebras. Relax at the lodge, later in the afternoon take a boat cruise on Lake Mburo where you may spot some Crocodiles, Hippos and don’t miss out on the Birds.
Day 19: Lake Mburo – Kampala.
Wake up to the whispers of the wild, enjoy a hearty breakfast and there after enjoy a game drive as you drive out back to Kampala via Mbarara town. Stopover at the equator where you may have an opportunity to take pictures standing in two hemispheres at the same time. Time allowing you may also stopover at Mpigi royal drum maker and watch the royal drums being crafted.
Day 20: Departure
Depending on your flight time you may take a city tour and visit the crafts shops to buy a few souvenirs before transferring to the airport to catch your flight.
